Colton Pometta

Colton Pometta is a writer and stage director based in New York City. His work as a director has been seen in nine different time zones on three continents, including the France and Argentina premieres of Adam Gwon’s Ordinary Days in Paris and Buenos Aires. He co-wrote Class President: An Election Musical and directed and choreographed its initial production and tour. Colton also works on adapting musicals from French and Spanish. His adaptation of L’histoire de Sally McLaureen premiered at The Edinburgh Fringe. He’s created solo shows for performers from Broadway and The Metropolitan Opera that have been performed in New York City and regionally. Currently Colton directs for Sun Valley Shakespeare, teaches at Harlem School of the Arts, and is the film festival director for the Emberlight International Film Festival.
