Max Resto

Max Resto is an autodidact multidisciplinary artist, author of five books of literary essays and assorted fiction and other written word ventures, including scripts, social satire, and film comments. His work has been published in a variety of printed media and electronic sites. He is the awarding-winning co-author of the book HOLLYWOOD… Se Habla Español, which celebrates 100 years of Latinos in Hollywood films and often cited in academia. His latest short film Masters of the Sea, based on the Jules Verne science fiction novel of the same title, won the audience award at the world-famous Boston Sci-fi Film Festival in 2012. In 2006, he established a “Boutique Creative Lab” in the South Bronx area of Mott Haven, where he develops a variety of projects within the fields of self-publishing, graphic design, film and animation, digital art, and music production.
