Laurence Klavan‘s Freud’s House was produced in in the Ensemble Studio Theatre Marathon and Miami Stories was produced by the American Jewish Theater. His full-length play The Magic Act was produced by EST and published by Dramatists Play Service. His one-acts have been produced by the Manhattan Punch Line, Working Theater and Actors Theater of Louisville, among others, and published by Dramatists Play Service. His novel, Mrs. White, won the Edgar Award and was made into the film White of the Eye. He has written screenplays for Tri-Star Pictures and Warner Brothers, and he was part of the HBO New Writers Project.
