Steve Liebman

Steve Liebman is a composer and lyricist. His works include Bridge to Terabithia; Tale of the Mandarin Ducks (co-lyricist); The Tale of Jemima Puddle-Duck (co-lyricist, published by Dramatists Play Service, Inc.); Hell’s Belles (Wings Theatre); The Great Gilly Hopkins (music and lyrics); The Forgotten Film of Dorian Gray (recipient, first Michael Stewart Award); Gina and the Prince of Mintz (New York State Theatre Institute); Hoodwinked (published by Samuel French); The Wonder Years (book only); and Wireless Christmas (music and lyrics). He also wrote the music and lyrics for Good King Wenceslas with Katherine Paterson (multiple Newberry Awards, Hans Christian Andersen Award) and Stephanie Tolan (Newberry Award), and the lyrics for The Treasure, a musical based on a Yiddish play by David Pincus, directed in 2006 by Bob Kalfin.
