Noah Putterman
Noah Putterman (he/him/his) grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina, dreaming he would one day be the next Mandy Patinkin. He is a theatre director, actor, and teaching artist currently based in Boston, MA.
In 2005, while a YoungARTS finalist and Presidential Scholar in the Arts, he met the great Ken Washington and (after a brief detour at Northwestern) eventually made his way to Minneapolis to attend Washington’s University of Minnesota/Guthrie Theater BFA Actor Training Program. He also got a Psychology BA just in case.
He did some acting for a while — including two consecutive seasons with The Acting Company — before he was eventually called down to Fort Worth, Texas. There, he served for five eventful years as the Director of Theatre for Youth at the historic Casa Mañana Theatre where he met his brilliant wife, Shannon Worthington. They moved to Boston in 2019.
He still hopes to meet Mandy Patinkin someday.
